PEI Seeks Halt Of Skadden Fees In Hartmarx Ch. 11

Law360, New York (October 27, 2009, 2:45 PM EDT) -- The owner of the Perry Ellis brand of apparel has objected to Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP’s bid for $2.3 million in legal fees for serving as counsel to bankrupt Hartmarx Corp., alleging the damages from its trademark infringement suit pending against Hartmarx, coupled with Skadden’s fees, could make the bankruptcy estate administratively insolvent.
