Indian Shrimpers Fight Injunction In Dumping Dispute

Law360, New York (October 27, 2009, 1:12 PM EDT) -- Two Indian shrimp exporters have asked the U.S. Court of International Trade to lift an injunction preventing the U.S. government from implementing a decision retroactively lowering anti-dumping duties on Indian shrimp.

In a motion filed Monday, Devi Sea Foods Ltd. and Falcon Marine Exports Ltd. asked the court to reconsider its Oct. 7 order denying their first motion to lift the preliminary injunction, which the court put in place while domestic shrimp producers challenge the U.S. Department of Commerce's decision.
