Guess Founder's Ex-Workers Put Him Up For Ch. 11

Law360, New York (October 28, 2009, 1:28 PM EDT) -- Three of the five former employees of Georges Marciano who won a $370 million libel judgment against him in July have filed an involuntary bankruptcy petition for the Guess Inc. co-founder in an effort to claim their $95.3 million share of the pot.

Ex-Marciano employees Joseph Fahs, Steven Chapnick and Elizabeth Tagle filed the involuntary petition alleging Marciano “is not paying such debtor's debts as they become due” in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California on Tuesday.
