Foreign Shrimpers Jump Into Thai Duty Collection Feud

Law360, New York (October 29, 2009, 3:22 PM EDT) -- A group of foreign shrimp producers has won court approval to intervene as a defendant in an ongoing court battle over lowered anti-dumping duties levied on frozen warmwater shrimp imported from Thailand.

The group — which consists of companies that are foreign producers, exporters and importers of the shrimp covered by the anti-dumping review at issue — was allowed entry into the case via an order filed Wednesday by Judge Donald C. Pogue of the U.S. Court of International Trade.
