Stanford Receiver Identifies $1.5B In Assets To Pursue

Law360, New York (October 29, 2009, 6:09 PM EDT) -- The receiver in charge of the estate of alleged Ponzi artist Robert Allen Stanford says he has identified more than $1.5 billion in assets worth pursuing and could possibly return 20 cents on the dollar to the victims of the scheme.

In an interim status report filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, receiver Ralph S. Janvey said he had collected $128.8 million out of the more than $1.5 billion he is pursuing.
