Apple, AT&T Hit With IPhone MMS Class Action

Law360, New York (October 29, 2009, 12:50 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. and AT&T Mobility LLC are facing a putative class action from an iPhone user in Alabama alleging the companies misrepresented the smartphone's multimedia messaging service capabilities.

In the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama on Wednesday, Clyde Bernard Franklin filed the complaint on behalf of all Alabama residents who have purchased a 3G or 3G-S model iPhone since July 2008.
