China Subsidized Wire Decking Exports: DOC

Law360, New York (November 4, 2009, 1:22 PM EST) -- In an initial finding, the U.S. Department of Commerce has determined that wire decking imported from China has been unfairly subsidized by the Chinese government.

Commerce released an affirmative preliminary determination on Tuesday, finding that a “significant number” of exporters who had not responded to the agency's investigation would receive a countervailable subsidy rate of 437.73 percent, based on adverse facts available.
