Domestic Processors Join Thai Shrimp Duty Spat

Law360, New York (November 6, 2009, 1:30 PM EST) -- A group of domestic shrimp processors has won court approval to intervene as a plaintiff in an ongoing court battle over lowered anti-dumping duties levied on frozen warmwater shrimp imported from Thailand.

The group — which consists of 33 producers of frozen warmwater shrimp in the United States — was allowed entry into the case via an order filed Thursday by Judge Judith M. Barzilay of the U.S. Court of International Trade.
