Plaintiffs Left 'Bare' By Life Insurer Request Class Cert.

Law360, New York (November 10, 2009, 6:01 PM EST) -- The plaintiff in a lawsuit accusing North American Company for Life and Health Insurance of providing customers with ambiguous and misleading notices and statements that tend to lead to lapses in life insurance policies asked a federal judge to certify the case as a class action.

Named plaintiff Christopher Krummell (guardian ad litem for John D. Krummell) filed the class certification motion on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
