Ga. High Court Narrows Noncompete Injunction

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 2:29 PM EST) -- The Georgia Supreme Court has narrowed the scope of an injunction prohibiting a former software engineer employee of a retina surgery practice from marketing certain software in competition with his former employer.

The state high court ruled Monday that the Richmond County Superior Court improperly enforced a noncompete clause in an employment agreement between Brendan Coleman and The Retina Eye Center.
