ArcelorMittal Resolute In Opposition To Steel Duties

Law360, New York (November 12, 2009, 12:24 PM EST) -- Steel giant ArcelorMittal Group is pushing ahead with its bid for summary determination in a case challenging anti-dumping and countervailing duties leveled against the company's Belgium-based subsidiary.

On Wednesday, ArcelorMittal Stainless Belgium NV replied to opposition to its motion for a summary determination by the U.S. Court of International Trade.

The company maintains anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders covering products of 4.75 mm or more in thickness cannot be applied to thinner products.
