Office Workers Union Backs Levin For Labor Secretary

Law360 (December 15, 2020, 5:09 PM EST) -- An office workers union said Tuesday that it's backing Rep. Andy Levin to lead the U.S. Department of Labor, giving him another union endorsement in the crowded race to serve as the next labor secretary.

The former AFL-CIO and Service Employees International Union organizer's labor bona fides make Levin, D-Mich., an ideal pick to spearhead President-elect Joe Biden's workplace policy agenda, the Office and Professional Employees International Union said in a Friday letter to the transition team that it released Tuesday.
