ADT Workers Lose Bid For Conditional Cert. In OT Suit

Law360, New York (November 13, 2009, 3:35 PM EST) -- A federal judge has rejected a bid for conditional collective action certification from a group of workers who accused ADT Security Services Inc. of failing to pay its technicians overtime as required by federal law.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed an order nixing the plaintiffs' conditional certification bid on Thursday.
