Senators Unveil Plan To Double Nuclear Energy Output

Law360, New York (November 16, 2009, 6:23 PM EST) -- Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., and James Webb, D-Va., on Monday proposed legislation that would deploy $100 billion in loan guarantees to double U.S. nuclear power production within 20 years and fund five “mini-Manhattan Projects” for alternative fuel research and development.
