Goodrich Adds Guidance System Maker For $375M

Law360, New York (November 17, 2009, 5:10 PM EST) -- Defense and aircraft contractor Goodrich Corp. announced Tuesday that it had acquired navigation equipment and sensor maker AIS Global Holdings LLC for $375 million in an all-cash deal.

Atlantic Inertial Systems, which is a unit of private equity firm J.F. Lehman & Co, makes guidance, stabilization and navigation products, including terrain avoidance systems, for military aircraft and missiles. Goodrich's acquisition of Atlantic Inertial is expected to close by the end of 2009.
