Polo Authority Fights Ralph Lauren Over Perfume Rights

Law360, New York (November 18, 2009, 3:45 PM EST) -- The U.S. Polo Association has hit longtime rival Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. with a lawsuit, seeking judgment that it is entitled to market a line of branded fragrances despite cries from Ralph Lauren that such a product would violate the fashion house's existing trademarks and confuse consumers.
