Ricoh Printer Patent Case Stayed Pending ITC Action

Law360, New York (November 19, 2009, 1:17 PM EST) -- A federal judge has put the brakes on Ricoh Co. Ltd.’s infringement suit against office supply maker Oki Data Corp. over multifunction printer patents to await the outcome of a parallel proceeding in the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Judge Sue L. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Thursday granted Oki Data’s unopposed bid to stay the court case until the ITC makes a final determination over the same technology.
