NLRB To Hear Charges Against News-Press

Law360 (November 14, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a spat that has grown increasingly nasty, the National Labor Relations Board will hear charges that the Santa Barbara News-Press unfairly fired a reporter and violated numerous other labor provisions.

Agnes Huff, a spokeswoman for the newspaper, confirmed that the NLRB would hear the case, but she called it all a part of the normal process.

“No decisions have been made, no charges have been determined,” she said.
