Judge Grants Mesaba More Time To File Plan

Law360, New York (November 14, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge on Monday gave regional airline Mesaba Aviation Inc. a three-month extension to file its Chapter 11 reorganization plan, just weeks after the airline was able to stave off a potentially crippling employee strike.

On Monday, Judge Gregory F. Kishel with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota gave Mesaba until Feb. 12 to file its plan, and until April 13 to win plan approval from its creditors. Neither the U.S. Trustee nor any other party objected to the extension.
