Baker & Hostetler Seeks $21M In Fees In Madoff Case

Law360, New York (November 23, 2009, 1:47 PM EST) -- Baker & Hostetler LLP, the law firm representing the liquidating trustee for the investment firm of Bernard L. Madoff, is seeking $21.2 million in fees for the five-month period between May and September.

Baker, which filed the request Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, also sought $280,000 in expenses for the same time period. Irving Picard, a Baker partner who is serving as the trustee in the case, also sought fees of about $835,000.
