Law360, New York (November 25, 2009, 3:14 PM EST) -- DISH Network Corp. and Sprint Nextel Corp. are hoping the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has a different take on DBSD North American Inc.'s reorganization plan, with the pair opting to appeal a bankruptcy judge's recent decision to confirm the proposal.
Lawyers for both companies on Tuesday filed separate notices of appeal of the judge’s decision to endorse DBSD’s Chapter 11 plan. Both plan to take their objections to the Manhattan federal court.
