Crib Maker Stork Craft Faces Slew Of Suits After Recall

Law360, New York (December 1, 2009, 7:16 PM EST) -- Canadian children's products maker Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc. has been hit with a number of lawsuits following a voluntarily recall of more than 2.1 million drop-side cribs amid incidents of infant entrapment and suffocation.

The lawsuits, filed in the U.S. and Canada, seek compensation for the costs of the cribs, and some also accuse the British Columbia-based company of negligence.
