ID Validation Outfit Accuses Rival Of Monopoly

Law360, New York (December 2, 2009, 3:05 PM EST) -- Eid Passport Inc. has accused rival Intellicheck Mobilisa Inc. of operating a monopoly in the driver's license validation market for the U.S. military.

The complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, alleges that Intellicheck Mobilisa has violated the Sherman Act as well as Oregon's Little Sherman Act.

Eid Passport accuses Intellicheck Mobilisa of a pattern of anti-competitive and predatory conduct designed to keep others from selling technology that electronically validates state-issued driver's licenses to the U.S. military.
