Suits Over Novartis Eczema Drug Return To NJ Court

Law360, New York (December 2, 2009, 12:55 PM EST) -- A federal judge has remanded six lawsuits alleging a link between Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp.'s eczema drug Elidel and cancer, saying the cases belong in state court because they don't involve interpretation of federal law.

Judge Jerome B. Simandle of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Monday remanded the state law products liability actions back to the New Jersey Superior Court where they'd originated.
