CBD Co. Sued For Using 'Dog Unleashed' Brand

By Sarah Jarvis (April 2, 2021, 9:28 PM EDT) -- An entertainment company that had planned to produce a now-canceled show called "Dog Unleashed" with a former reality TV star known as Dog the Bounty Hunter has filed suit against a CBD company it alleges unlawfully used the licensed brand to sell "Dog Unleashed CBD," though a judge later said the suit didn't show subject matter jurisdiction.

Unleashed Entertainment LLC said in Wednesday's suit, filed in Colorado federal court, that CBD Global Sciences conspired with Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman to illegally use the brand name in order to raise more than $100,000 in allegedly ill-gotten profits.
