Aerospace Group Urges Reform To US Export Controls

Law360, New York (December 4, 2009, 3:26 PM EST) -- An aerospace industry trade group is urging President Barack Obama to advocate for changes to an international agreement governing the trade of unmanned aircraft systems as part of a new effort to modernize U.S. export controls.

The Aerospace Industries Association said updates to the way new aerospace and defense technologies are treated under U.S. and multilateral export control regimes are among several changes the White House could make now to modernize controls.
