Live Nation Win In WrestleReunion Contract Suit Stands

Law360, New York (December 4, 2009, 4:31 PM EST) -- A federal judge has knocked down WrestleReunion LLC's bid for a new trial on its failed claims that Live Nation Television Holdings Inc. breached its contractual obligations to produce and market programming of WrestleReunion events.

Judge James D. White of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida on Tuesday upheld a jury's Sept. 30 verdict for Live Nation, saying the defendant's expert had not been improperly allowed to testify about whether the company used reasonable efforts to market the wrestling programs.
