DOC Ends Review Of Jindal Film Dumping Order

Law360, New York (December 4, 2009, 4:19 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has dropped its review of an anti-dumping duty order against India-based Jindal Poly Films Ltd. over the production and export of plastic film products to the U.S.

Jindal, India’s biggest producer of polyethylene terephthalate film, withdrew its review request in September, and the Commerce Department subsequently agreed to rescind the administrative review, initiated in August, of the agency’s anti-dumping duty order on PET film, sheet and strip products from India between July 2008 and June 2009, according to a Federal Register...
