ITC To Determine If Imported Stools Violate 337

Law360, New York (December 7, 2009, 12:45 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission will investigate whether a dozen manufacturers and retailers, including Inc., Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. and Home Depot Inc., violated the law by importing step stools that infringe a design patent licensed to B&R Plastics Inc.

The ITC commissioners voted Friday to initiate an investigation into possible violations of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930.
