Pair Of Distributors Settle Red Bull Gray Market Case

Law360, New York (December 8, 2009, 5:55 PM EST) -- Red Bull GmbH has reached settlements with two distributors that the Austrian energy drink giant accused in a Section 337 action of importing gray market versions of the company's signature beverage.

According to filings Monday on the U.S. International Trade Commission docket, the company has settled with Washington Food and Supply of D.C. Inc. and with Vending Plus Inc. of Baltimore.

Meanwhile Red Bull has increased pressure on two Brooklyn, N.Y.-based defendants, motioning to have Lamont Distributors Inc. and Central Supply Inc. held in default for...
