IP Firm Brinks Hofer Cuts 6% Of Work Force

Law360, New York (December 9, 2009, 4:09 PM EST) -- Having avoided layoffs until now, intellectual property firm Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione has announced that it will let go about 6 percent of its employees in anticipation of a weak 2010.

The Chicago-based firm plans to cut seven lawyers and 19 members of its staff, according to Gary Ropski, Brinks Hofer's president, who spoke to Law360 on Wednesday.
