Sud-Chemie, Multisorb Resolve Container Patent Spat

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 12:45 PM EST) -- German chemical company Sud-Chemie Inc. and New York-based rival Multisorb Technologies Inc. have settled a six-year patent dispute related to dessicant containers, which are used to keep cargo dry.

Judge Charles R. Simpson III of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky dismissed the case on Tuesday, giving the parties leave to reinstate the case if the settlement isn't consummated within 15 days. The order did not disclose any terms of the settlement, and attorneys for the parties could not immediately be reached...
