Counterclaims Pared In Real Estate Listings Suit

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 6:30 PM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed two counterclaims and allowed another in Home Quarters Real Estate Group LLC's antitrust suit accusing two Detroit real estate associations of muscling the now-defunct company out of a home listings database.

Judge Stephen J. Murphy III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Wednesday dismissed the breach of contract and Computer Fraud and Abuse Act counterclaims of defendant Michigan Data Exchange, leaving intact its counterclaim of breach of contract for failure to pay.
