$9M Real Estate Contract Judgment Put On Hold

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 5:19 PM EST) -- A federal judge has denied a raft of motions filed by two real estate developers seeking to toss or hold off a $9 million jury award against them for unlawfully dissolving a partnership to develop residential property in Kansas, but stayed enforcement of the judgment pending an appeal.

Judge Carlos Murguia tossed all of David Christie and Alexander Glenn's motions but their request for a stay pending post-trial motions and appeal in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas on Tuesday.
