Insurer Must Indemnify Maverick Over Piping: 5th Circ.

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 6:51 PM EST) -- Overturning a lower court decision, a federal appeals court has determined that Westchester Surplus Lines Insurance Co. has an obligation to indemnify Maverick Tube Corp. for an incident caused by defective piping that Maverick sold to a gas and oil operator.
