Emigrant Appeals $10M Attorneys' Fees Ruling

Law360, New York (December 12, 2009, 4:23 PM EST) -- Emigrant Savings Bank is appealing a judgment that ordered it to pay Metavante Corp. about $10 million to cover attorneys' fees and other litigation costs stemming from a contract dispute between the parties.

Emigrant filed its notice of appeal Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. The case will now move to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
