Tariff Dodge Nets Catfish Importer 20-Year Ban, Prison

Law360, New York (December 12, 2009, 5:21 PM EST) -- A Virginia seafood importer sentenced to five years in prison for conspiring to dodge import tariffs has been barred from importing food into the U.S. for 20 years by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, its first debarment of a food importer.
