Judge Grants Class Status To Mentally Ill Plaintiffs

Law360, New York (November 21, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Thousands of individuals with mental illnesses in Illinois nursing homes will have a chance to challenge the state for allegedly violating disabilities laws after a U.S. federal judge granted class action status to a lawsuit against the state.
