Judge Chucks NeuroMetrix Shareholder Action

Law360, New York (December 14, 2009, 6:28 PM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed a proposed shareholder class action accusing medical device maker NeuroMetrix Inc. of misleading investors about billing problems associated with the company's flagship product.

The company announced Tuesday that Judge Rya W. Zobel of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts dismissed the suit Dec. 8. The consolidated amended complaint also named as defendants company founder Shai N. Gozani, former Chief Financial Officer Bradford Smith and former Chief Operating Officer Gary L. Gregory.
