Ore. Governor To Fight LNG Terminal Approval

Law360, New York (December 18, 2009, 6:51 PM EST) -- The governor of Oregon is aiming to overturn the recent approval of the Jordan Cove Liquefied Natural Gas import facility and an associated pipeline by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, claiming the project has moved too fast.

Gov. Ted Kulongoski and Oregon Attorney General John Kroger said Thursday that the state will request a rehearing of the approval of the Jordan Cove facility and the Pacific Connector pipeline, issued by FERC earlier the same day.
