Building Materials' Ch. 11 Plan Wins Approval

Law360, New York (December 18, 2009, 1:39 PM EST) -- Building Materials Holding Corp., which provides residential building products and construction services under the BMC West and SelectBuild brand names, has won approval of its Chapter 11 reorganization plan from a federal judge.

Judge Kevin J. Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware issued the ruling Thursday. The Boise, Idaho-based company said Friday it would emerge from bankruptcy on Jan. 4.
