Chinese Paper Co. Wins Injunction On Duties

Law360, New York (December 22, 2009, 3:22 PM EST) -- Chinese paper maker the Watanabe Group has secured a preliminary injunction barring the U.S. Department of Commerce from liquidating duties on imports of lined paper products, in a suit over anti-dumping duties of more than 250 percent.

Judge Jane A. Restani of the U.S. Court of International Trade approved the preliminary injunction on Monday in an order with hand-written amendments ensuring that the prohibition went into effect immediately, rather than after a customary five-day waiting period.
