Abbott Hits Sandoz On Generic Nimbex In Del., NJ

Law360, New York (December 22, 2009, 3:23 PM EST) -- Abbott Laboratories has pounced on Sandoz Inc. in two states with allegations of patent infringement for attempting to make and market a generic version of Abbott's muscle relaxant Nimbex.

Abbott filed one complaint against Sandoz, a unit of Novartis AG, in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Monday, and a materially identical one in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Friday.
