Mayer Brown Slams RICO Claims In Refco Investor Suit

Law360, New York (December 22, 2009, 2:08 PM EST) -- Attempting to nail the coffin shut on litigation arising from the Refco Inc. collapse, Mayer Brown LLP has asked a federal judge to toss the remnants of a suit brought by a group of investment funds claiming the law firm violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act in its representation of the defunct brokerage firm.
