GE, Ingentis Resolve $73M Turbine Contract Dispute

Law360, New York (January 5, 2010, 5:16 PM EST) -- A General Electric Co. unit and Argentine energy company Ingentis SA have settled a dispute over a $72.6 million contract under which the global conglomerate agreed to sell Ingentis turbines and other power generation equipment.

Judge Shira A. Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York approved the parties' joint stipulation of dismissal on Monday. The stipulation, filed Dec. 30, said that the parties had settled, but did not disclose any terms of the deal.
