Korean Steel Co. Faces Dumping Duties On Pipes

Law360, New York (January 7, 2010, 3:37 PM EST) -- South Korea-based SeAH Steel Corp. is facing possible duties on its welded stainless steel pipes following a U.S. Department of Commerce preliminary finding that the company dumped the product in the U.S.

The International Trade Administration said in a Federal Register notice Tuesday that SeAH had sold the pipes at less than normal value, assessing a preliminary 5.15 percent dumping margin on the merchandise for Dec. 1, 2007, to Nov. 31, 2008.
