Intel Busts Foe's Patent In Eastern District Of Texas

Law360 (November 29, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- After a two year battle, Intel Corp. has successfully fought off allegations of patent infringement leveled by a Texas patent holding company, which accused the chip maker of copying its microcomputer technology.

In an opinion issued Nov. 22, Judge Leonard Davis granted Intel’s motion for summary judgment of invalidity, crushing the arguments of plaintiff Maurice Mitchell Innovations LP, which filed the lawsuit in December 2004.
