DOC Raises AFA Rates On Shandong Hand Tool Imports

Law360, New York (January 8, 2010, 5:49 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has raised the dumping margin on certain heavy forged hand tools made by Shandong Machinery Import & Export Co. pursuant to a remand order issued in the Chinese machinery company's suit challenging the department's final determination of the rates.

Commerce increased the adverse facts available rate for a class of hammers and sledges from 45.42 percent to 109.16 percent in its redetermination lodged Thursday in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
