Grasso Appeals For Jury Trial

Law360, New York (November 29, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Former New York Stock Exchange chairman Richard Grasso asked a New York court on Wednesday to let a jury decide if his $187.5 million executive pay package was excessive.

New York State Supreme Court Judge Charles Ramos had previously ordered a trial without a jury to decide if Grasso’s pay was reasonable in the suit brought against him by the state’s Attorney General and New York Governor-elect Eliot Spitzer.
