Commerce Slashes PSF Duties For 2 Chinese Cos.

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 6:40 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has slashed anti-dumping duties on polyester staple fiber for two Chinese companies over a two-year period, concluding an administrative review.

The department's International Trade Administration said in a notice published Monday in the Federal Register that anti-dumping duties on certain polyester fibers made by Ningbo Dafa Chemical Fiber Co. Ltd. between December 2006 and May 2008 have been reduced to zero, and duties for Cixi Santai Chemical Fiber Co. Ltd.'s PSF have been reduced to a de minimus rate of 0.2...
